Once this bridge is burned maybe Americans can grasp the concept of serving the country over one's self a little better. As for Egypt and any other Arab country, I've never had faith in a peaceful coexistence between them and Israel. Fortunately for Israel, they have the ability to quell any non-nuclear threat.

The percentage of people there that support this group depends on who you would like to pay attention to.
Most news sources put them at between 15% and 20% of the population. Fox News claims that 60% of the population supports them. The truth appears to be that 60% support some of their views, but when polled only about 18% say they would vote for one of them. In politics that is not really enough voters to get elected to anything. It is hardly the size of a good fan club.
