Anyone driven on of these yet?
I've been walking by one in a parking garage in DC for a couple weeks. Dang nice looking car! I'm surprised I haven't seen any on the road...

Hopefully the new Hyundai's are better made. My only new car was a 1987 Hyundai Excel. It lasted 58,000 before it fell apart.

New hyundais are very good. The veloster just came out, it wasn't even around in august when I was looking at new cars. It probably would have been a contender, but it's not too fast.

hyundai has gotten better BUt you get what you pay for. gonna have the cheap interior etc

Its a 3 door coupe. Yes, much better quality than 20 years ago, but needs more sizzle from what I've read.
Hyundai interior quality? Seems pretty good from my experience. At least the leather on the seats lasts longer than my friend's BMW.

My sis just leased a 2012 Accent hatchback. The interior in it is pretty good actually. On par with Hondas and much better than Toyotas. Has a decent ride and supposedly gets 40 mpg with the 1.6 and 6 speed auto. Wasn't floaty at all in the corners either.

we test drove a Hyundai when we were looking, they bragged about the front seats but we always have a passenger or two, the rear seats were a little over and inch thick and might has well been a lawn chair. the doors were tinny and lacked any semblance of a quality feel. we ended up with a Chevy

I like the quirky factor with the three-door concept. Not a bad looking car, pretty cool tech specs too, with the GDI and excellent economy...and a 6 speed manual.

The Hyundai Veloster is a very well engineered car, it's got sporty looks, finesse and drives like an economy car. Performance will come with the planned turbo version later.
Built quality, finish and featured trim lines do certainly exceed current Hondas, Toys and Nissans. They went up in price, but still offer more than it's competitors, esp when it comes to warranty. It's a fun car, drives very well.
