Set of tires for my truck today, and for some reason the engine seems to be running smoother. Is that possible?

The tires were extra wide 18's I checked around several places and the best I could find was $950. Then today I tried a small tire place in the next town and he has a set of Bridgestones. I was very happy because he only charged me $650 out the door including disposal of the old ones. I am a happy man.

The tires on the front are slightly more narrow than the rear one's I was able to save $75 per tire. Are Bridgestones good tires?

Nuttin wrong with Bridgestones.

I think your old tires/wheels were out of balance and now the new ones balanced up properly make the rig seem smoother.

I wonder why the guy in the next "small" town was able to sell me the tires for $300 cheaper than anyone else? any thoughts on the matter?

Not in my book they aren't. I've posted about my Bridgestone experience before and won't do it again.

Bridgestone RE760s have good grip when you warm them up, but do get greasy when you overheat them.

Oh wait, these are for your truck.

Bridgestone tires make nice thick clouds of smoke. O_O

I'm running a six banger, I don't think it would burn tires.
