95 toyota van window regulator out but window still stuck up
Hello,
I am sorry if this isnt allowed. I have a question about another car of mine that isnt a mercedes. My window regulator went out my 95 toyota van. the window is stuck closed (up). I pulled the door panel off and with a bit of work got the the regulator out. The whole time I expected the window to come down. it never did and i cant get it to budge. any ideas? could the seal around the window be that tight? thanks

could be popped out of one of the vertical channels and be stuck

anybody spill soda on the window? the seal could be "glued" to the glass...

Does the window have some sort of metal frame at the bottom that is still in place? Is it possible that something is wedged between that and the door panel, preventing the window from moving?
Also, are you sure you have the entire regulator assembly out? On some vehicles it's hard to see what you're doing inside the door.... Is this a power or manual assembly?

I Am sure the entire regulator assembly is out. I went to a pick n pull and pulled another one out. I can see in all around the glass.
Um the only other thing I can think is the little plastic sash thingy that that attaches to the regulator and the window sits on broke off. It is still attached to thebut window but not attached to the regulator as I pulled that out.

Hmm.
now we are getting into details of the window design, perhaps moving to OD will help. there are a lot more techs from other vehicles over there. cheers!
