Ouch you'd think they would stack some bricks on the hood to level the suspension out.

I remember when I was a kid hearing my grandfather (not a car guy) talk about this Nash he used to have that sat up too high in the front. His solution: put some cinder blocks under the hood

Judging by the fold in the hood, it looks like they may have tried just that and went one too high.

Talk about a hazard to others!

Im guessing they left a tool under the hood then slammed down the hood ,the 126 bodies have an aluminium hood which doesnt play well with heavy objects .Pulling that trailer with its rear so low Im sure it drags across any speed bumps it encounters.

Not necessarily. My '87 SDL has a steel hood.

Gotta laugh at that one!

Great cars do great things. Such a testament to the build quality.

Mercedes should use this picture in their ad campaign.

I'm willing to bet that 126 has over 400k on the odometer..
