And be careful when switching from the 240D to your E55 - you'll burn out the tires in no time :D

Buy a 240D! I love W123's but starting to get hard to find a good one now a days escpecially in the north. When you buy your 240D get a license plate frame that says "My other car is an AMG" :D

I think the 240D has the perfect amount of power. I don't really plan on taking on long drives (have the E55 for those), so I think it will be a good fit.

lol! The E55 literally has 5-6x the horsepower and torque that the 240D does.

Why not make it into a trollmobile? Add a fake spoiler, 20" rims, stripes, etc. Just to mess with the purists!

Nah - How about euro lights and bumpers, factory bundts or steelies? Conversely, he could go with a more open wheel design and paint the brake calipers green...

I do have a spare set of some Wald wheels I could put onto there.

In all honesty, I am getting tired of driving a modified car on a daily basis. Not going to lie - its a PITA. Need to watch out for potholes, cant really make it into driveways, getting stuck on speedbumps, and having to angle speedbumps so you dont rip your cats off. I am not really over having a modified car, but its pretty annoying.

I am not getting rid of anything I currently own and drive, just going to add this to the stable. Just want something nice and clean... And stock!

I am going to get a nice fresh coat of paint on this car, euro bumpers, euro lights, and a nice set of hubcaps. Just have a nice, clean, stock daily driver.
