drive a 240d for a year and you'll have no need for your AMG....... a lawn tractor will feel fast to you after that!

A 240d is an engaging car to drive if in good condition and a stick.....especially so with the aluminum wheel cover style wheels and the little 175r14 tires (which are getting very hard to find).;)

I am thinking of keeping Pancakes as a 240d and installing a 358 diff for a little better economy....or perhaps a 346.

I will be going from a 500+ HP daily driver to a sub-100 HP daily driver! I think its awesome!

And if not properly maintained, OR if running the A/C, it will be sub-60 HP.:cool:

It depends on YOU. Are you strong enough to be the slowest vehicle on the road? Can you tolerate the hatred of everyone who is stuck behind you?
You will develop patience, but can you hack it?

Buy the 240D, then drop a small-block Chevy V8 in it...

Had mine for almost 4 years and it's my DD. Lately I've been doing about 2K miles per month. I wish it had more power but then again I've never been late because my car was slow.:rolleyes:
