What does your pet make you do?

Our Pug dog "Little Man" makes us buy him stuff that we can't afford.

What does YOUR pet make you do?

Our Pug is nicer to us than that. He wakes us up promptly at 7:30 a.m. and DEMANDS stuff.

Play fetch with that damn ball ,Its kind of a curse but whatcha gonna do.Ive resorted to just kicking it at one point and it soon turned into a soccer match ,to get it buy her is almost impossible ,if soccer was played by dogs my little one would be somekind of goalie .Other people that come over a watch her and seem to be amazed. One interesting note when she does bring it back shell put her paw on the ball and bark as to say ,one more time ,Ill bet Ill get it this time .Her acrobatic skills include a side winding jump, not sure how she came up with it but imagine a side ways 360 while catching the ball ,funnny as hilll.

My bunny PJ's insists on being petted on the forehead with the back of my hand.

His son, Theodore likes a full body pet across the back.

My Mini Pinscher wants to play hide-n-seek

He drinks very little, compared to my yellow lab, who just laps water and makes a mess each time. Sometimes I think the mini pinscher has acquired a taste in other drinks

The big guy, a yellow lab, just wants to play with water

My 2 hedgehogs makes me deal with wounds from their spikes at least once every time I pet them.

I have a 10 month old labrador retriever and Chippy makes me feel the need to wash him every time he goes out for a run on our backyard. I don't know what is up with him getting out ever so muddy and dirty looking after about 30 minutes worth of free unrestrained activity.

PJ's is the one which is mostly black. He is the daddy and is now about six or seven years old. Good natured fellow.

Theodore is the one with mostly white and grey spots around his face and in a lovely row down his back. He is very gregarious but not as large as his dad.

Miss Humphrey is Theodore's mom, is a mini rex, she is mostly white and is pictured sitting on the bunny house when the young'uns were tiny. She is a very gregarious little bunny.

Spend all of my beer money on their food and shelter?

I used to love pets. Actually, I still do. I just don't enjoy them as much as I used to since my wife has over compensated for her pet-free childhood by filling our house with a retriever, a teacup poodle, four cats and 2 rabbits (there were birds and fish but they've since passed). Now keep in mind, this is in a 1,250 sq.ft. bungalow cape along with four kids. And three of the cats don't get along with the friendliest one and the two rabbits don't get along well enough, unsupervised, so they each have their own cage.

I can see getting to the point where we are pet-free (through natural attrition) for a short period of time before reassembling a more manageable size zoo.

Time to start brewing your own!

Hours of peaceful time making the beer, and a much better and cheaper finished product.

I don't have "pets". I do have 4 dauschunds who graciously allow me to fulfill their needs while not taking up too much of their reclining space, which curiously enough seems to be wherever I decide to sit.

They have managed to teach me a few simple commands such as, "Walk NOW", "scratch HERE NOW", "Food NOW", "Out" followed 8 seconds later by "IN". They are tremendously loyal and brave companions. Whenever "danger" threatens they will immediately find me and crowd around me protecting my back while furiously telling the danger what they think of it. Ain't nothing going to sneak up behind me while they're on the job!
