I did a thread http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/open-discussion/296046-post-pictures-126-two-tone-paint.html?highlight=tone+paint on two toning my 85 three hundred sd. I got some pretty sweet examples of it on the S classes. I think the 123 has easier break lines. You can split the 123 at the roof line easily but the 126 does not have a good place there. the 123 also has a good break line at the trim while the sd does not. The 126 has the lower cladding which was a different color from the factory though so that is easy to two tone and it was from the factory.

I ended up painting all of my sd one color to save a couple hundred on the paint job. It looks pretty good that way in the manganese brown it came from the factory with, i think.
