Not for awhile, but truthfully speaking, she was not here for vehicular guidance, and seemed a very active student to boot. God knows if I were still a college student, I would have zero time to socialize on internet forums, way too much else going on to burn time with this lot.... I say that looking back, but at the same time I believe myself lucky to have gotten through my education before the explosion of the interweb, which gives with one hand and takes with the other... And, I never saw anyone beating up on her because she is a girl. I believe she may have even attended a GTG...

BohdiBenz would likely be a good candidate to discuss the virtues of this forum from the perspective of a female.

Assuming that porche is in actuality a real girl with a real car (this point is highly debatable given the recent spate of doppelgangers infiltrating the Peach after some bans were handed down) her lackadaisical approach is enough to put off many. As was pointed out, she is familiar with internet forums enough to immediately put up an avatar and fill out all the user info, but not savvy enough to post her question on an appropriate Porsche forum? There's something not entirely right here... Granted, she may have looked through the forum and seen the wealth of excellent knowledge spread around here, but if that were the case would she not have known that OD isn't the best place for that question?? And I must align myself with the folks who get slightly irritated by really horrible spelling. It isn't such a big deal, a word or two here and there, but when your entire post is underlined in red as you are typing... I mean really, spend a couple seconds, look up the word and spell it correctly... you will be a better person for it. One could make the argument that many were just trying to help the poor girl... we'll fix that car of yours honey, just as soon as we can learn ya some new words...

Either way, the solution to her problem was suggested in post #3.
