I have decided...

Not to make decisions anymore. I'm handing that and many other duties over to the wife for awhile. Due to health issues, and my inability to get words from my brain to my mouth without difficulties, she gets to be in charge of things for awhile.

I'm going next week for a sleep study, the docs seem to think that among many other issues, that my sleep apnea is severe enough to be cutting off oxygen to my brain in my sleep. I've been told that this is irreversable, but hopefully they're wrong.

Some of the other issues have yet to be remedied, but the docs are thinking that many of the symptoms are pointing to MS. More MRI and CAT scans are coming next week, as well as a possible spinal tap. The last MRI when I was in the hospital, didn't show lesions, but they are thinking deeper scans are in order.

I'm just hoping to be able to get back to driving condition, since warm weather is coming, and I'm dying to get the Mercedes out.

Just because I'm having issues getting the words out orally doesn't mean i can't argue with you bozos...I can still type what's in my mind. LOL

I bet the MS thing has to do with all of the metals you have been in contact with over the years. I had a friend in Florida that dealt with silver every day, and he was diagnosed with a mild form of MS. Vickie and I will be praying for you Brother.

I'll survive...I have many more years left. Just pray that the docs find what's wrong so I can get back to a somewhat normal life without constant dizziness.

Will do. On a funny note Jon, do you think that your massive "Fu Man Chu" might be causing an imbalance?

If you mean the imbalance of my sanity...it's possible. LOL

My daughter noticed that the hospital, when shaving my chest for electrodes to be placed for the EKG, that they caught about 3/4" of my 'stash in the blade, and removed it. It took a ton of trust on my end to allow her to even them out.

Hope things even out and you get back to good health.

Take heart in the fact that you have your kids with you and a loving wife you can trust.

Are you using a CPAP machine.
I have one, an old one that dries me out too much for me to use, and I can't get it upgraded. The newer ones add moisture to the air, and the positive pressure help with the apnea ( and the snoring).

Take care--that cane be serious.

Dizziness? My dad just solved his dizziness problems. It was bad, if he went horizontal (like to pick up something), he had bad vertigo. The Drs efforts to fix other things, had him on about 25 meds per day. Nurse sister went with him to dr, armed with list of all the meds. They changed and now he is down to 7 and dizziness is gone.

Don't give up the ship. What ails you is probably more fixable than you or even they realize. Mostly needs the right person looking. Took my BIL a couple years to get fixed, but now he is fine and back to being his old pain-in- the-a** self.
