I had to go commando many years ago. With the sheer size of my upper legs from weight lifting and working in non-air conditioned factories, I'd get gaulded to the point of being blistered. I tried everything from powders to keeping a baby sock filled with alum...nothing helped. Going commando was the only thing that helped.

I had those issues for the first 6 months I moved to this Sub-Tropical climate.
No fun.

The only relief was to let cold water run over my body in the shower.

Just recently switched from boxers to boxer briefs... Best damned decision I've ever made.

Just make sure you get them large enough to where they shrink in the wash. Otherwise it's a pain in the di... well, you know the rest.
