David,
Did you get the wheel bearings cleaned, dried and repacked after running it through the water like that? If not, you are in for very early wheel bearing failures. Also, you run the risk of sucking up water into the engine (new engine $$), and getting all the electronics wet. Herb '82 240D '87 300SDL
