You couldn't make this stuff up. I monitor the fair and balanced reporting and commentary on FOX now and then and last night I popped in during "The Five," a sort of round table discussion with five people, oddly enough.

At one point, the artist know as Eric Bolling spoke of the war on cheap gas, something to do with the dang demos, particularly Obummer, trying to keep affordable gas out of the hands of Americans. I wish I'd been taping it cause I'd like to hear that again. I just checked their site, they post transcripts but there's a week lag time. Wouldn't want people just reading the transcript instead of watching the show.

I'm guessing they're trying out R talking points - I know in '04 I regularly heard Bush drop lines that had been field tested by Hannity in the previous weeks. I can hear it now:

"OK, we nailed them on the dog on car thing by pointing out Obama's admission that he ate dog in Indonesia. That's right, high five, nailed it baby! Now we need to come up with something to turn this "war on women" nonsense on its head. I know! How about 'war on cheap gas?' It just might work."
