How do you manage your photos?
I know this question has some tech elements, but I think it's really more about organization. Since we got our digital camera several years ago, we haven't printed out a single photo! We have two photo cards and they each have over a thousand photos on them. I have some time this week and am trying to figure out what to do.
Dh seems to think that the photos are supposed to "live" on the cards -- that the cards should somehow be organized by albums and the photos stay there. That sounds wrong to me! I think they should come off the cards, be stored on the computer (and backed up on a flash drive or disk). And of course, what we want should be printed -- and several should be deleted altogether. So...what do you do with your photos? Do you store them digitally even after you print out copies? If so, how do you store them? Do you use one program to manage them (e.g., Shutterfly, Creative Memories, Kodak Easyshare, something else?)?. Any other advice? |

Pretty stealthy. Two posts, one in the pretty girls thread, and this one. let's see how long it takes before you're banned again.

I just develop the film and stick the photos in an album as I have always done.
