Follow the advice you were given by the Moderators and stay away.
I knew you don't have what it takes to maintain a discussion of any kind. That's in your thread history. News flashes and yada yada. You bail out whenever things get to a point of distinction.
I agree, you are not an adversary of any kind. Let's leave it at that.
Since I am not on a "first name" basis with you, please refrain to use my name in your posts.

Lastly, what do you know about any advise that I may have been given from moderators? Sounds more like someone who is pretty full of himself.

Gee... seems like some people are spending an awful lot of time researching an 'unworthy' adversary...

I would accept that as proof of worth.

The flag in sig issue was not La Rondo.
Maybe a little more research is in order....

I think you are referring to two different postings from two different members...I never mention flags posting or researching anything or anybody.....perhaps you could get your facts right?

I'll give you the honor to be the "Premier Member", first ever PeachParts user who goes on my ignore list. That should suit your ego.

Insult! Can I hit him back? Nah, the kid doesn't know what he's talking about ...

Jeez, you can't even be bothered to read the insult fest you started. The flag reference was indeed from someone else (post #6) but the post from CMB was not directed at you, but at all and sundry. So, hate to break it to you, but it is you who needs to get your facts right.

And BTW, I'm part Scottish myself, the quarter of me from whence cometh my surname, and I don't need to see some neon sign pointing at the Scottish flag. Find some class already.

THE TOPIC:

I've never been that crazy about Facebook, I don't want to be in business with Zuckerburg, but this (the link in the OP) is interesting as it indicates that some of his business model might be in trouble. Or that of the web in general. OTOH I suppose I'm naive for thinking it would be any more free of crime and/or scam that any other sort of business framework.

I just had a splendid idea about how to make money from the internet:

I'm gonna put aside a Dime for every post I make! That will grow my piggy bank BIG & FAT!!

Boy, why didn't i think of this sooner? It's genius! Completely self sustained, no boss, no clients. G-d bless the internet, I will be rich!
Well, at least it may be a down payment on a new computer when the time comes

To me it's a phenomenon. I am not getting it, really. It must be our time and age, yet I can't even relate to it.

A former coworker, who solidly stated he will never be on FB, just recently joined. He says his daughter talked him into it.
At the same time, he warned me: "Don't ever do it. Now, I am totally hooked on it."

So, I am looking in from the outside.

I have another friend, Mr Malibu, who used to maintain a rather elaborate FB fan page.
Interestingly, in the course of a publication issue, involving Pepperdine and sewage flowing downhill & exiting just below Malibu Rd, his FB fan page disappeared at the snap of a finger. How's that for a mystery?

Zuckerberg strikes me as the latest incarnation of the young dot.com flashes in the pan - about 99 parts market cap and 1 part useful addition to the world.

So far it's a pretty massive "flash", thanks to all the voluntary participants.

I just confirmed, Mr Malibu's FB fan page has reappeared a few days ago, after being missing in Cyberspace for about 6 weeks.

In the minds of millions, it is the other way around, nothing but useful convenience at a seemingly no cost.

To me, it has something of a disease, like a plague or so. My instinct reaction tells me to better stay away from it.
