Your Prediction of B.O.'s Upcoming Diversions
 

B.O. will put forth many more diversions between now and November. Friday's immigration bomb shell is a great example of this. Anything he can throw it there to keep the news media away from his failed economic policies will work to his advantage, and the biased news media will take whatever he throws out and run with it.

The Republicans are completely outclassed in such a political game, and will be near helpless in these situations as seen last Friday.

I will start off the list with the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Whichever way it goes, B.O. and the media will milk it as long as possible to keep the discussion away from B.O.'s failed economic policies.

I thought they responded pretty quickly with the Obama quotes from a few years ago in which he said he could not act unilaterally. The problem is that the State-controlled media may not cover it, but the alternative media does, and the message does get out. ( maybe not here at PP, but in the great unwashed heartland)

He will try and divert attention away from the economy, but everyone LIVES the economy everyday. I doubt that his attempts will be successful.

The R's wrote the book on diversionary tactics....gay marriage, gun control, abortion, and so forth.

You used the phrase "failed economic policies" twice, as if it's something that's generally agreed upon and understood. I'd like you to elaborate, with examples if you don't mind. If you'd rather not, then we'll just have to conclude it's just meaningless buzzwords.

Maybe the next thread needs to be started so we can start listing all B.O.'s broken campaign promises. You know, like promising to cut the deficit in half in his first four years? I think he's running just a little bit behind on that one.

Is that not what David Limbaugh's newest book does? Fully foot-noted and documented.

Maybe it needs to be posted here. Otherwise the liberals on this site will never read it and learn the facts.

You got it! Don't expect any ONE landowner to be singled out though. The pipeline is a logical choice as one of his diversions though. It already has the attention of many.

What qualifies you as a landowner? whats the amount of property? I don't want this pesky president ruining my freshly planted shrubs with any of his pet projects

Holders stonewalling is a welcome diversion for B.O.

ANY diversion is welcome contrived or not. A Hurricane, an Earthquake, a war overseas, ANYTHING that diverts news away from B.O.'s failed record on the economy works in his favor.

This diversion is only one of MANY to come before November. I am NOT saying it is an intentional diversion. But the diversion aspect of it at least offers B.O. a LITTLE bit of good in the bargain.

Now sit back and watch the mainstream media for at least the next 48 hours. They will JOYFULLY be all over this as a diversion and you will hear virtually nothing from them involving B.O.'s failed economic policies.

Why don't you send an email to Obama listing those topics that he should be limited to engaging in, thereby foiling his effort to create a smokescreen?

Fast & Furious might VERY WELL be the ultimate diversion!

WHAT IF the dems were to make it look like there was a cover up? They turn it into something so HUGE that it completely dominates the news media all Summer long keeping the focus away from the economy. THEN at the time of their choosing, they let out the information such that the Republicans get the story, but find out that it's nothing but a smoking gun. Some little detail that no one cares about.

At this point, the Republicans have been played like a cheap fiddle, WithHolder and B.O. are vindicated, and the economy has been kept buried on the last page of section D.

Although a bit sinister, this would be a BRILLIANT political strategy. Something that only the democratic machine is capable of engineering.

Of course a B.O. zealout will not think such a thing possible. Believe me, it IS possible from either side. These guys are thinking strategic politics with every waking breath. That's all they care about. They certainly don't give a toot about the citizens. They are ALL, at least 95% of them, in it for themselves. Anyone who doesn't believe that is naive.

hes clearly trying to stamp out an obvious witch hunt by Issa that is clearly about muddying the eye of the administration right before the election.

The person pressing the issue is Issa, and its about making this election a question of what the administration is hiding instead of confronting real issues.

You should be angry at Issa instead, but somehow in that twisted thought process, you are attributing this nonsense to Obama.
