Chowda is good, milk, clams and potatoes. There is, however, in fact, a special place in hell for people who propagate invasive species.

Milk is a body fluid. Feeding body fluids to kids would be a crime if it wasn't so profitable. Cow milk is not recommended for children under the age of one year old, anyway.

Your body doesn't have the rennin to break down the casein in milk or the lactase to break down the lactose in milk.

Heavy whipping cream is the best. Goat milk is good too.

Ah-HAH! Trapped. The case is rested.

No but hey, I've often wondered about overmuch dairy consumption. I don't drink milk anymore but I use whipping cream in my coffee, have cheese several times a week and eat ice cream too often. I'm thinking that the development of lactose tolerance was just a step on the way of species evolution and another survival mechanism. That said, it's something that should be consumed in moderation, probably more moderation than I employ at present.

I find I'm preferring coconut milk more and more. Not much protein, but most people get enough of that anyways.

There is a theory that lactose intolerance is in fact biologically normal. The equivalent of lactose intolerance develops in most mammalian species and aids in weaning. Humans are the only mammal that drinks milk past infancy. Studies done on individuals who are actually lactose intolerant seem to indicate that those people who are genetically related to areas of the world or cultures that do not have a long held dairying tradition are more apt to be lactose intolerant than those who come from dairy cultures. Those populations who were heavily dependent on dairy products gradually got digestively used to it past childhood.
I am blessed with low body fat and even lower cholesterol. I adore all things dairy and eat them with wild abandon every single solitary day. Two percent milk? "heart healthy" pseudo-butter? Blecchhh....

Because the Bible says so! You get eternal damnation when you cook meat and milk. Dang, you gotta pay attention. I think it's like having sex with livestock or having sex with a woman on her period. Some things YWVH can't abide.
