This HAS TO BE the funniest post in this thread!

If his parents had not been straight, then HOW could the guy have been born?

If you have any interest in learning about someone who is TRULY worthy of hero status, take a look at Aquaticedges' "Secret Hero" thread. Now THERE is a HERO! How many lives did Alan Turing save?

I knew it would be a good club. If you want to know about the reproductive habits of gay people either read Boswell's book or simply look around. Did Ted Haggard have kids? How many gay males have you heard of who had families for reproduction and male lovers? Most of my gay friends, especially the ones living in a religious context, were married at one point.

Homosexuals are physically incapable of having children, right Larry?

Larry, I figured you would know the answer to this, given that you work in the tech field. Turing led the development of the techniques and devices used to break the German "Enigma" machine cipher code in WWII. I think one could effectively argue his work contributed to saving the lives of somewhere from many hundreds of thousands to several million people because of how significant it was to bringing about an earlier endi to WWII.

Turing did an amazing job for the Allies' war effort. He and his group saved thousands of sailors' lives from enemy submarines. Also, because of his efforts, allied resupply of the war effort was uninterrupted. Had Turing and his colleagues NOT been so unusually insightful and dedicated there would have been no Operation Torch, Avalanche or Neptune. Hitler would have been able to negotiate peace with the USSR and ignore the rest of the world.

Give Turing (and his group) the full credit they richly deserve.
