A&E series "Longmire"
I don't get into TV dramas much anymore. Didn't see any of 'The Wire' or 'The Sopranos' but for some reason I checked this one out and it's pretty good. The lead actor, Robert Taylor (not the dead Robert Taylor ) is from Australia and must be an actor cuz I don't hear the Aussie in him, mate. Plays a sheriff in rural Wyoming.
Robert Taylor is the new sheriff in town in A&E's 'Longmire'

The wife and I haven't missed an episode. I'm hoping that the story between the sheriff and the reservation police comes fully to light before this season is over.
While I generally shy away from most things that Lou Diamond Phillips is in, his role in this series is pretty strong.

Quote:
The episode about the Mennonite girl was genuinely moving. I don't get that on TV too often. Some of it can be cheesy, like the shootout in the one that involved the barn fire. The guy rushing out with a plastic bag over his head was just a bit much. And then our man rushes to save him where seconds before there was a shooter watching that route. What, the gunman was on the toilet? But oh well, one must suspend disbelief.
