Global wierding

Between the East Coast (VA/MD/OH) storms last night, bushfires in CO, the obscene heat in a lot of the US, does anyone have any doubt anymore that SOMETHING is going on with our climate? Hey, maybe it's a good thing. The more people get pimp slapped into thinking about climate, the more support there will be for change to alternative energy that doesn't **** Gaia.

Way to talk make light of a real issue. Are you actually that stupid, or do you just play a moron on the Internet?

I feel it's obvious they are changes.

Whose to blame, is the question.

Seems natural to me, you read about past ice ages etc.

You are dead nuts on target sprun.

Way I see it-the Government Military Industrial Complex, along with AIPEC/Israel has sold everyone a big load of ***** about Iran 'gettin em some nukes'..in order to continue the war machine.

IMO..the things we are doing to the earth will take it out l..o..n..g before anyones Nuke does.

The average American with all of their toys, dont help. You know..snowmobiles,ATV's..just bull***** that isnt actually needed.

Anyway..I ride a bicycle, and use Public transportation..that might not be much..but it is at least trying to do something. As opposed to the typical lazy fat ass that cant even walk to the corner store.

Our precious lifestyle, based on our god given right to cheap and abundant fossil based fuels, must be preserved. It's hot, turn down the thermostat. It's dry. That's why god gave us hoses.
Anyone who dares propose any changes or who thinks the human race may have somehow contributed to the weather is a communist tree hugging anti-business Obama zealot. Don't **** with my paradigm.

You mean making light of an issue YOU consider important. Have you determined the cause of it? Can you prove reversibility? Have weather changes occurred in the past?

Trying to inject your pro-muslim/anti-Israel spin to everything, aren't we?

Has that been proven at this time? Have they proven that we, as a race, can and will reverse it?

What do we have to lose, other than a lot of pollution, by attempting to reverse it?

Well, what do I have to lose by trying to get the sun to rise in the west? It takes resources so don't say that we have nothing to lose. Before we dump resources into a project, lets analyze the project first. Lets not simply dump resources into a vain attempt at something. When you buy into a project, do you buy into a black hole project or a project somebody of your abilities cannot do? If I need a million dollars and I only have $300, it won't fly. Lets make sure we can do something first, shall we? Then worry about how much will be involved and then how to work it.

Climate schmimate. The storms happen all the time. Fires are man made, firefighters reminding us "why we need them". Usually, they all get so out of hand in the first place because some yuppie climate alarmist *****es about water usage and these people aren't hosing their houses down.

Well, people can have their superstition but I don't know how it affects the weather unless you want to make a sacrifice to the gods of the sky.

Ooooh. Tough talk. Sorry you don't like my opinion of religion or disagree with you. Perhaps if I agreed with you, would you agree to not call me a troll boy? Please? Pretty Please.

When I was a kid (1960) the world population was 3 billion, the culmination of milllenniums of population growth.

The population recently topped 7 billion -- an increase of 4 billion in 50 years.

People deride the global warming "hockey stick" graph. You want to see another hockey stick? Look at the population graph -- and there's no disputing that one.

Not surprisingly, the population and climate change graphs show some correlation.

That said, mankind's efforts to avert climate change are likely going to be insufficient if the population continues to grow. Too little, too late.

In nature, when a population of species exceeds the capacity of the environment, a massive die-off follows. Then perhaps a race of sentient cockroaches will take over.
