Wasn't "The rumor" of which you are now mongering about, actually just "A rumor"? You know, the difference between one of many rumors mongered about at that time but indisputably not a singular or unique rumor, of course? Surely you can stipulate that there where very many rumors and numerous ones imagining Israel or some subdivision thereof visiting death upon Arafat and there was undoubably maybe another equal measure of Non-Israeli interests that would do him the same?

That's what a rumor is, a rumor. Who benefited by his death; the Israelis, the US and Fatah. I don't know if you remember how he spent his last years, but at that point there was no peaceful solution. He had to go.

And what Non-Israeli interests are you talking about, is not all that happens in that region and beyond in the interest of Israel?

Why are you assuming that all possible solutions involve the continuing existence of the State of Israel? And for the record, I like the country and many of its residents. I hate how it's become a focal point for crazies of all stripes, though.

Just as there is no solution with out the other parties. Israel is here to stay in one way or another.

Israel has a sub-surface sea launch thermo-nuclear capability, they might not survive as a state where they are right now, but there will be a acute shortage of heavenly virgins for a lot of crispy Muslims if that day ever dawns. Bet Dat!

As long as they serve our needs, why not ensure that the odds are in their favor? When they cease to serve our needs, let the next guy take care of them or not, WGAS?

I'd be interested in how that thought happened to just pop into your brain as a question to ask? Because it seems unclear how anyone said anything to about Israel existing or not, do you see something someone posted regarding Israel's existence?

To whom are you asking that question of the someone who in your mind is "assuming" anything about "all" what "possible solutions?" What do you imagine the problem is that whatever all assumed possible solutions would solve?


Being that you like Israel and many of its residents its right to exist could be decided upon based on whether it is a striped crazy focal point?

Are the existence of any other striped crazy focal points in the world deemed worthy or not on such a basis, known? Care to share if you know of any others?
