Thanks I'll be branching out into other materials too. I have this awesome minerals shop by me that has a TON of cool stuff. I think I'll Keep this thread going with all the stuff I make. there'll be a discount to anyone here who wants one of them

My Uncle (rip), Roger Pabian wrote the books on agates......literally.

Being a Dr. of paleontology and a rock hound; he made a lot of jewelry out of rare or pretty stones.
He had one of the best the best agate collections in the world; he loved taking kids out fossil and agate hunting.

thats pretty awesome! I love minerals. I might make a couple pyrite type necklaces just for fun. and a couple Out of country currency ones too.

The silver chain on the one you sold looks much better than the gold one. IMO the gold chain looks "cheap" while the silver one (different styles plus I am biased a bit on the color) looks elegant.

Either way, cool deal. Do you buy the agates or find/hunt them?

The chains are all Silver... I dont know why it came out gold in the pic. I buy them. there's a local mineral shop that is Amazing
