I did and then checked out a bunch of YouTube videos on the topic, and then bounced back to Google. It is very interesting nonetheless.

I really have a hard time believing there is just nothing to it. All the family photo's, et cet. I guess we could ask his 1/2 brother living in a mud hut -- I bet he wants some wealth redistribution !

The key to this is the Student ID number on the 'Barry' Student ID card from Columbia U.

Spend a few hours tracking this down and then kick yourself for buying into this nonsense.

The Student ID number is real. Once you find out how this was put together you will just feel like an Idiot for wasting so much time on this.

I really cannot say I "bought into" this stuff. Rather, seems to be too many "red flags" (I cannot think of a better term right now) to simply suggest a huge misunderstanding or a conspiracy to harass B.O. That is why I listed this as the "real" Barry Soetoro.

There IS nothing to it in the minds of our liberal friends because it doesn't further their agenda. I'm not convinced myself, but I don't really care one way or another because it doesn't get in the way of my own ideology.

To a liberal OTOH, it must be beheaded before it grows. If you had hard line evidence that it was true, they would still be attacking you because it puts their beloved B.O. in a bad, maybe even a felonous light & you're the messenger. Attack the messenger. That's how they see it.

The good news is that you apparantly found a nerve here with the B.O. lovers. Maybe I should start referring to B.O. as Soetoro instead. That seems to get them excited and adds additional wear on their keyboards.

It's much more fun and rewarding to make it a mystery. A conspiracy. An enigma wrapped in a conundrum or a condom or however that saying goes. Actually looking at the truth means you have to read all those wacky blogs and look at all those youtube videos as the horsepucky they are and that is not fun when it doesn't fit your agenda.
