Haw, I'm almost 57. Thing One is 31.

This is great...I wasn't expecting anything like this out of them; just sort of figured that my daughter and her husband would be the first to have kids.

Benz? Why? He has a box stock Toyota pickup with an engine that an AMG would die to have under the hood. 5.7L & 400+ ftlbs of torque at <2000 RPM.

Congrats! It's great when the 'lil ones start having their own lil' ones...

Mine made me a GPa before I was 40...now, the oldest is 15 (back on the 13th) and the youngest (#5) is fast approaching 1.25 on the 3rd. #2 and #3 beat the hell out of each other like it's a death-cage match (wondering if they'll make it to 10 & 9 respectively...#3 on Wed., #2 on the 13th). #4 is the quiet one...and he'll hit his "Golden" this coming Sept. 6th..

It's fun when they visit...the "X" and I get to sugar 'em up, shake 'em up and then hand them back when we're done wearing each other out...then moms and dad get to deal with the mixture.

Yep...payback is a 8!tch...for yours.

OH! BTW...remember to only "advise" yours on what to do with theirs...you remember how the ILs used to "tell" you how to raise yours? Break the cycle and let them do (learn) on their own...unless, or course, you see something bad that should have been avoided with a little common sense.
