I found 2 links. 1 puts no doubt that seniors would have a out of pocket expense and the other concerns an updated verison Ryan put out. ryan left out details that would make it imposible to figure out if there would be an additional expense. Also it does seem that the year increase of the voucher would be determined by the CPI which does not seem to keep pace with health care cost increases. You have read the Ryan and feel comfortable you understand it?

The questions they don’t ask, is can you do the above every day? Even in an office environment will you be able to type 5-6 hours a day? SS gives disability for lots of bogus claims, but a friend lost a leg at 55 years old and he can’t get it. Get this, he hangs sheet rock and paints houses.

I guess everyone who's condition prevents them from continuing to do their old job or their prefered job should be considered disabled and have everyone one else support them the rest of their lives? Then they can get Medicaid, food stamps, free cell phones, free cable tv, free internet, section 8 housing, etc., etc. etc. but only until they reach 65 years old and then SS and Medicare for the rest of their lives, not to mention the Senior discounts at the early bird specials and the movies, museums, ammusment parks and strip clubs!

And give you a smoke and mirrors untested voucher system that you will have to spend on for profit insurance companies that will cut your benefits as you go along.

Not a totally honest view, but in dirty politics this would be enough if repeatedly hammered home, in campaign TC ads, to take away away just about all of the senior citizens/AARP vote from them and give it to Obama so he can safely win the election.

Seniors DO VOTE!! Heavily.

Of course there are enough badly informed and knee jerk "conservatives" with the analytical ability, attention, intelligence and attention span of a hibiscus that would ALWAYS vote for someone -- anyone at all -- that calls himself a Conservative Republican, even if his address was the Napoleon Bonaparte wing of a psych ward and his platform advocated bombing Chicago with bowling balls and making everybody wear their underwear on the outside of their clothes.

Luckily, voters of this ilke comprise less than 50% of the American electorate, but they all watch American commercial television and Obama's crew will have to work hard to eclipse their staggering numbers because many millions of them vote. They are to be ignored at his peril.

I suppose we will see who is living in reality and who is living in an alternate reality in 80 some days. I couldn't disagree with your presentation more strongly.
