Larry, would you agree to a compromise in which you support gay marriage if the left agreed to forbid all abortions in the case of rape and given the unwanted children to gay couples to raise?

Sounds like a pretty OK idea to me.

We'd get a generation of men who grew up with what color the wallpaper ought to be and which towels went best with what in the bathroom.

And all the way to the end: I see designer (Calvin Klein) denim colostomy bags.

I guess the right wing nut jobs just can't keep their mouth shut when it comes to rape and pregnancy.

Republican Senate hopeful Richard Mourdock in rape row

During Tuesday's debate, Mr Mourdock was asked during a debate with Democratic challenger Joe Donnelly whether he believed abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest.

"I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realise that life is that gift from God. And, I think, even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen," he said.

Did he skip the part in biology class where they taught about how a baby is conceived? Best thing des can do is just to let the right keep talking. Pretty soon they will has alienated every female voter.

Tell Einstein that God intended Democrats to happen, and to pull out of the race.

A while back someone posted some remarks attributed to the late Sen. Barry Goldwater, to the effect that if the preachers took over the Republican party it would be our undoing. Looks like Barry was right as usual.

Barry was a man of unusual integrity.

All these DB no good GOP should go back to the dark ages where they belong. These religious zealots has no place in running for office. OTOH, they may get elected for saying the 'right' things as there are more dumb voters around. It is really sad for America. We can go to the moon and back but some still believe in Creationism, sad.

And an actual conservative, unlike the zombified lockstep pod-people who have taken over his party.

Just keep bashing the Christian God, you'll meet him someday whether you want to or not.

Can we send him to his room when he behaves like a petulant child whose broken toys disappoint him?
