Who would you really vote FOR?

So many people are voting for Romney only because they are against Obama and about the same number are only voting for Obama because they are against Romney.

Who is voting FOR someone because they truly believe that person is the most qualified person for the job, with the same beliefs and values that you have, and believe the candidate will not change his/her values upon election or re-election.

My current Congressman is Ron Paul. I agree with him alot but also have a couple of bones to pick with him. I would vote for him again, if he were running, because I think he is one of the few, if not only member of Congress not for sale to the highest bidding lobbyist.

Who do you think is an honest politician who deserves your vote?

Of the candidates on the ballot in my district? Barack Obama and Tim Kaine each get my enthusiastic vote. Frank Wolf is honest and probably deserves my vote, but I have reservations voting for anyone who has so many campaign signs next to George Allen signs.

The fact that an individual can fully support a man who is taking the country toward certain financial ruin by spending fortunes of money that he does not have is simply beyond my comprehension.

I'd suggest that such an individual would be a total and complete moron, but I know that is not the case..........so, it's simply baffling.

I'm voting for the man who has the best chance at reducing our debt in the long term. I am not voting for the man who seems to embrace deficit busting policies. I say "seems to" because Romney won't reveal specifics.

Well of COURSE he won't reveal publicly that he is a shill for big Corporations and the uber rich, why should he?

It is bad enough that the other day he publicly revealed his contempt for the poor and middle class. *THAT* little gaffe alone may have caused him to lose the November election right there were it not for the fact that the attention span for most American voters is about 3 seconds long.

I will be interesting to see how many people actually *identify* themselves as part of that 47% that mooches off the government.

............despite the ample evidence that he will not do so in the short or the long term.

Your argument seems to presuppose that if Romney were to be elected that he could do what he says he wants to do with the consent of congress. I do not think that either will have any greater/lesser affect on what is going on with the economy.

My vote for Obama will be based on social issues. Court appointments and hoping he does not start another war.
