Mitt Releases Tax Return, Now What?

After all that whining from the Dems, Mitt releases his 2011 return, and a summary of the last 20 years. I don't see what was so criminal that he felt he had to hide it.
I'm sure someone will put a negative spin on it though.

Every working yr of my life that im aware of there was 20% taken right off the top. Except perhaps when a monkey decided no one needs to pay a sustainable amount of govt income.

lets see some real tax returns from before he began to eye the White House.

Even in the midst of his campaign, he still paid 14.1%....

I'd be more curious as to what his point about the 14.1% is. Was it legal or did he fudge numbers? If the numbers were fudged, that could be an issue but if it is legal, IOW, he took all the legal deductions, etc, etc, what is his point?

Did nothing of the kind. I want to see tax records, not a well licked over 'summary'.

Especially 2009 and the Bain years.

So far he has released 2 years of returns during which time he was actively campaigning for President. Let's see what shananigans he was up to before he hired the professional handlers to prep him for his run.

Exactly. Although I imagine the "ammunition" for the dems here is that figure is less than most Americans pay. I don't care as long as its legal personally.

You mean like the legal deductions taken by the 47%??? Those moochers, those victims, those people with no personal responsibility??

14.1%
Less than his secretary.
And he wants a tax cut for himself.

Glad you don't care about tax code. Why do you bother posting about it?

Glad you read something other than what I posted. I said I don't care about his tax returns, not about the tax code. In the realm of the political race it means nearly nothing that will affect either side, unless of course there is some wrongdoing.

Are we going on a fishing expedition or do you have some really good reason to be suspicious other than he has an "R" in front of his name? Is there anything in the summary that makes you think something is fishy?

What exactly are you trying to say? If it was legal, WGAS about his secretary or the dog catcher of his home town? Lets answer the first thing first. Did he or did he not submit a legally accurate tax return?
