Anyway the subject of worthless "job creators" whining about having to pay a sustainable level of taxes is back.

the likes of this W-O-S need to go ahead and LEAVE, things will get a little worse short term, but we dont need booger eating chicken humpers like this guy- I dont understand why anyone would consider any employment situation with any like minded contractors .

So you're saying that the guy who built a successful business that employs 7,000 people should leave? Seriously? Is anyone who builds a successful business a "worthless job creator" to you, or are you also going to tell us which ones aren't worthless job creators? How about Solyndra? I'd say they're worthless, and they left, taking $535,000,000 of government money with them.

What the CEO seems to be doing is telling them the truth, as he sees it, sitting from behind his desk where he sees all the numbers and pays all of the bills. He listed all of the taxes. Who's to say what's a "sustainable tax" for his business; him or you? (I love that "sustainable" euphemism, too, if that's not a moving target, nothing is.) I suppose you'd rather tell him what the truth is for his company?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you're one of the ones that who whines about big, impersonal corporations stealing and gouging (and pouring money into political campaigns, though that is a separate issue); and now you're whining about a real-life flesh-and-blood human that built a business who is indeed complaining about the potentiality of paying more taxes (and discussing what may reasonably result). Okay, so what's left? Shall we all go to work for minnows and giraffes, or just look to mother earth and messiah obama to sustain us?

David Siegel is the man who, together with his wife, Jackie, built the largest new house in America, known as "Versailles." His story first appeared in my book, "The High-Beta Rich." It then made it to the big screen with documentary film "The Queen of Versailles."
They became symbols of outsized spending, debt and real estate in America.
But when the company started buckling under $1 billion in debt during the crisis, the Siegels' home went into foreclosure and was put up for sale. They cut back on the jet, took the kids out of private school and gave up some of their staff.
So why is David Siegel - a man who defined excess and debt in the 2000s - now saying that debt and spending are ruining the country?
I asked David during a phone interview last night, and he told me that this was about his workers, not himself. He said his own finances have vastly improved. He has paid off all of his major lenders. "I have enough money for the rest of my life and enough to leave a good inheritance for our kids." He said the loan for Versailles is paid off and he's resuming construction on the home.
"The elevators are going in and they're preparing to put in the marble."
The deal with Versailles' lenders, he went on, worked out "better than I imagined," since he was allowed to go nine months without making any interest payments on the loan. Jackie has several offers for a new reality TV show "which we're in the process of ranking and evaluating," Siegel said.
He has learned his own painful lesson from the debt crunch. "We cut back, we're lean and mean. That's what the rest of the country has to do."

He's got his now, his employees can go pee up a rope in other words. Great way to instill company loyalty among the staff.

In an odd case or two, yes. For the majority, there is no real loyalty that I can see. If the right carrot were dangled in front of them, they'd go. I wouldn't go counting on company loyalty. If I can find a better paying job, all other things being equal, I'm out of there. If they can find a cheaper way, I'm history. We don't owe each other anything.

Maybe because people like you are NOT creating jack. Perhaps if that changes and you start creating more jobs than him, it might make others decide against him.
