For most of us longer term married guys this is not quite the case. I guess the old adage that sex is like playing bridge may have a grain of truth in it. If you do not have a good and always willing partner you should have a good hand.

For those that have the luxory of enough time to get bored perhaps they should be thankful. I spend seven hours spray painting yesterday now I get to put it all back together for the remainder of the week.

Of course while doing this I should really be doing something else. I guess that I am thankful to always have interesting things to do but a break would be nice.

I gave up geting totally caught up years ago. There is some upside to having surplus time. Why oh why do I always seem to take on more on those few occasions when the end of the tunnel is in sight?

Actually, with the kid away at college, the wife and I have "rediscovered" life as a couple. Kinda nice, actually, and we found out that we really do like each other's company.

But with the house and cars getting "long on the tooth", there is always something that needs attention...
