No, but I've done some real smoky donuts with my 'stroked E-350 van.

Ever seen a farm truck lift the front wheels and run 10.219 @ 128.10?

Love this comment:

Yeah, I once watched a 2500 4WD Suburban take an iced curve too fast, slide sideways till it hit the shoulder and then roll into a tree. Moron driver walked away.

Ok, not quite like that...

More of a controlled slide...

I have. On snow, ice, dirt or wet pavement.

One time I went to my Mom and Dad's in Kalamazoo Mi over the holidays. My dad, brother I and two of my kids decided to go over to the Ford museum for the day. On the way back around 8 pm or so it began snowing. It was light but the road seemed to be clear under the blowing snow. I had it on cruise and was boogying along.

All at once while on a curve the truck lost its back end and slid big time. I corrected and it immediately slid the other direction, then back the first direction, each skid getting larger and more ominous. For an instant I thought WTF?

You could hear only one sound in the car as everybody held their breath....my hands patting the wheel back and forth...pit a pat a pit a pat and so forth.

Then realized i was on ice on an unnoticed bridge on the curve and the cruise control was trying to get the front wheels to go the desired speed by accelerating the car.

I tapped the brake pedal and the truck came straight again.

All that time and nobody screamed although they must have been as scared as I was....no probably not.

You definately don't want to be going sideways in a Suburban if you didn't plan it ahead.

Yeah I have power slid my truck, its lots of fun. Just have to remember their is a bit of mass there and don't let the rear end get to far around or it will really snap around on you.

I had a well built 300 inline six in an 84 F250 4x4, 6" lift straight axle swap, and I stepped the rear end out on it in the snow a few times. My current F250 is a 69 2wd that originally had a stock 300, then a built FE 360 with a 4BBL, and now has a 7.3 IDI and ZF five speed. The 360 was decently fun and torquey, but thirsty. The place I was working at was on an odd point of a lot that the road wrapped around, and across the street was a performance parts distributor. Their guys were always doing burnouts and other activities, so one day coming back from lunch I decided to see what that truck would do. Hit the corner a little quick in second, stomped on it, and cut the wheel to kick it out. It behaved very well, walking cleanly around the corner and crackling against the rev limiter. Plenty of people came out of both shops to see what made this incredible sound, only to find a rusty old truck.
Now, with the diesel, it's fun in the dry, dangerous in the wet, and suicidal in the snow. It only gets used for highway hauling (what I built it for in the first place), so it's not too big of a deal. I'll have to get some videos of playing this winter, if I can get it up and down the hill from my house.

I did a 360 doing 110mph in a Durango and survived, but this was Bonneville.

Exclamation

Little boys of ALL ages like to stomp in mud puddles.

But grown females do not understand this.
