Can you find out how much the chrome on the front bumper would cost? Also what about the entire front bumper?

Might be interested in finding the inside door handle on the driver's side.

thanks

tkamiya... its ridiculous that small things such as an arm rest costs $900+ to replace. Hope Dan finds what you're looking for.

There are actually two and a half different variations of the W124.

The first is from 86-90, which is the original look.

The second is from 91-93. The lower body cladding was added in 91, and a metal insert was added on the trunk lid so that the license plate would look "flush". The bumpers are also almost completely painted, except for the center bumper stop, which is still black. The interior was also updated with different seats, more wood on the dash and doors.

1993 shares the same body chasis number, engine, V.I.N. as the 94-95, but is a hybrid year because it has the same exterior look of the 91-92, but has the same engine and and interior as the 94-95: passenger side airbag, armrest with flip up storage feature, and the storage box on the center console with the sliding wooden door that locks. This center console storage box came standard on 93-95, but was an option on earlier models. I've seen this quite often on 92 and older wagons.

94-95: gets the hood / headlights / trunk lid with chrome stip beneath the star / completely painted bumpers. Also, the bumper stop on the rear bumper wraps all the way around the bumper, whereas on earlier models, the bumper stop wrapped just around the corner of the bumper. They also have different front lane change indicators (clear and amber) and different tail lights (red and clear).

To illustrate the above, following are the chasis numbers, engine numbers and V.I.N.:
chasis # Engine V.I.N.
90-92 300E: 124.030 103.983 WDBEA30
93 300E: 124.032 104.992 WDBEA32
94-95 E320: 124.032 104.992 WDBEA32

tkamiya, there is a euro-only junkyard not too far from you. I'd guess about 1.5 hours away called Rick's European. If your interested shoot me an email and i'll get you their phone number. They will pull the part and ship it for you, or you could drive there for yourself. I'm sure they have what you need, the entire yard is almost benzes with a couple porshe's and bimmer's. There was a totalled out s-600 the other day saddest sight i've seen, the dashboard caught fire and they totalled the otherwise pristine sedan. What a waste, i wanted to cry, black ext with black int. Man, that WAS a beutiful car . Oh yea, if they dont have your part at the moment, you can give them your info and they will call you when they get it in, which is most likely within a month, or at least it was for me
Ryan
