Most remakes are not better than the originals. "The Maltese Falcon" may be the exception--the Bogart version was superior to the first one.
Sometimes it is entertaining to see how different directors and actors played the same part, using the same script. One such was the remake of "The Affair" as " Affair to Remember".

ive been told that this movie has been on the editing table for a couple years, and the original invaders were Chinese, but its been editied to North Koreans. Anyone else hear this?
