The starters are re-build able, the 6.3 is the car to have IMO, lighter and I like the transmission better than the 6.9. The 6.3 is objectively prettier. The air suspension is a mess, but not as big of a mess as the hydraulic in my opinion.

The M100 Group is huge and full of good information. If you pick up a 6.3/6.9 get with the M100 Group. The M100 group can get air bags cheaper than Mercedes too.

I know someone who has a supercharged 6.9 running stand alone in a W116.
