A lot of truth to that statement.

28 die daily at the hands of drunk drivers. Where is the outrage ??
102 die daily at the hands of drugs. Where is the outrage ??
125 die daily at the hands of illegals. Where is the outrage ??

The shooter in the school was illegal in many ways.
The school was a 'gun free zone'
He had stolen all the weapons he had with him.
Unproven yet, but initial reports indicate he had serious mental issues.
Look at school shooting history. Virtually all of them were done by
person or persons who had a history of mental illness.

I let the government solve all of my problems. Cuts down on thought and gives me an uncalled for sense of smugness with a tinge of misguided moral superiority.

What is the true NRA position in all this? Is the right to bear arms an absolute right, regardless of whether the guns are stolen, or the shooter is mentally capable? Does that right also mean unfettered access to guns regardless of age? In their eyes, does your ownership of a gun override another persons right to use it, or not?

Right to protect ones self by owning and maintaining a gun is the NRAs angle. The type and style is the owners choice.

Make gun theft punishable by life in prison or death if used in a fatal crime. Leave the victims of the felon out of it.

I certainly can't live anyone's life, but it appears that Hattie may wish to consider moving to the Republic of Texas where the right to bear arms is respected and upheld. It sounds like Connecticut could change it's name to Communisticut.

Yup, clearly no outrage in this country against drunk driving, drug use or undocumented immigrants. All are totally legal and don't cost us billions of dollars in enforcement of laws and government initiatives combating any of them.
