Was it the yard's truck? I've seen yards make all kinds of vehicles into run abouts.

By some chance,

Was this picture taken at the customer parking lot at the Aadlen yard @ Tuxford/Telfair in Sun Valley?

If yes it is a customer's "car".

The yard itself only uses forklifts and only INSIDE the yard..

I like that actually..... 124 wagon to a Benzamino if it's done right it looks pretty sweet, I have pictures of one that cropped up on Craigslist I'll try to find. that one is still either in the works or poorly done. they left evidence of the rear doors...

Look at it this way... I have seen some cases where folks did that to wagons that sustained damage to the rear from a falling tree... at least it keeps the car on the road. In any case these cars are now getting old... when stuff gets old, it arrives in the "hey, let's have some fun" zone.

I can only dream of pulling stuff off clean cars like those. Here in the rust belt, the first challenge is usually the fact everything is rotted in place (or too rotten to bother with in the first place).
