Old Beaver

I have an old beaver coat that reeks of smoke and it must if I can smell it. Checked with P&G on using febreze on fur and got no answer. Anyone try it?

Prediction

This will degenerate badly.

But back on topic, try hanging it outdoors for a while. Have used Febreze but not on fur (never been around a beaver that warranted it) so can't help you with that product.

And WHAT exactly is the poor old beaver wearing now? It's cold outside.
Shame on you.

autoshocker type odor eliminator in a makeshift airtight tent with coat in it. Might work.

I find when the old beaver starts getting a little rank, this takes care of it right quick.

Summer's Eve...a good splash or two will have it smelling clean in no time.

Have you tried douching?

But seriously, enclose the coat in a zippered plastic bag and toss a few dryer sheets in. Leave it for about a week.

Dryer sheets do a heck of a job absorbing odors. Imagine spilled baby formula on vehicle carpeting on a hot summer day! Dryer sheets even got THAT odor removed!
