I have not filled out a bracket, but am following it somewhat. Glad to see the big ten is still well represented. I believe there are still four in it so I am cheeriing for an all big ten final four!!

I see Illinois just lost.

I think perhaps all the teams Purdue beat this year are out by now.

Oh well, maybe next year for Purdue.

They screw me when I pick them, they screw me when I pick against them. Almost like clockwork. Unlike many, I don't live or die by my brackets. Izzo is one of my favorite coaches so I'm never particularly upset when he does his part to mess up mine.

Izzos teams are filled with these thickly built thuggish players who jump on your back every time down the floor. if the refs called fouls they would not be so successful. I like izzo too but i don't think his foul all the time coaching style has done anything good for the game....unless you want it to be like hockey.

I remember a play last year when PUrdues point guard, a short fireplug named lewis jackson was driving the hoop from his right and a michigan player much larger hacked across his body knocking the ball loose and knocking lewis down and no call. just very frustrating.

That's the kind of basketball I'm used to seeing with the Big East (and that I played through H.S. ). I suppose I should say was used to. RIP the League formerly known as the Big East.

I had to give a WTF is a 'Shocker' lesson/explanation to a Cornhusker earlier tonight.

The mopheaded cartoon caricature of a 'Shocker' is humorous, actually off-the-charts humorous to me.

I knew about what a shocker does, but never saw the caricature on apparel, etc. Too funny!

How bout an all Big-East Final?

Would be somewhat fitting, since the conference as it exists is over. It happened once before - in 1985.
Villanova shot an NCAA Tourney record 79% and upset Georgetown. St. John's also made the Final 4 that year
& lost to G'town in the semi's. Last Championship game played on a college campus. Last year without the 35 second clock too, iirc.
