Flash player question

How can i copy an Adobe Flash Player video? I want to copy a news program (save it to my computer) and copy it on to a DVD for a couple people who were on the news. The station can't help me, well unless I want to spend $125 (!) to get it. Or is there a way I can copy it as it is being played on my computer? Rather have a free program of course.

Here is the program (couple come on at the 1 hour mark)

Have been messing around with Realplayer. Not really able to figure it out. There is a 30 second ad 9which will occasionally change) that Realplayer wants to save, but not the news itself.

I have IE, am beating head against wall trying to figure this out. If this is easy for someone, would someone be willing to get converted what I need and post it to youtube, i can take it from there. Just the section with the old bus that starts just before the 1 hour mark, only lasts a few minutes.

I am assuming that it is legal for you to download this video and save it

If you really need to save this video- then its worth the Firefox download and play with "add-ons"

...I rock FF with some flash-blocking and ad-blocking add-ons - it helps the pageload times a lot.

I'll download it for you, edit it and upload as ZIP to my server if you'd like

Edit: seems they lock out all the flash downloaders I have... I can record it on my cell phone and do the same. Lmk

CONGRATS on 3000 posts! Yeah if you could, I am just at my wits end with it. Not sure if I will be able to unzip it. As far as legality; I am trying to get a dvd made for the couple in the show, I think that has to count for something, not trying to make money or sell it. Once I have it on my computer I am pretty sure i can take it from there (wmv file?). If it could go on to youtube I will know what to do with it, so if you could just edit down the interview/article that occurs at about the 1 hours mark, that's all i really need, and thanks SO much for your efforts.

(at least someone who knows what they are doing is having problems too, makes me feel a little better)
