He was in the news recently...didn't that have something to do with him being demoted/relieved of command during the Benghazi (sp?) debacle? He was refusing to "stand down" while the 4 Americans were being attacked and eventually killed while the WH-Clown-Posse was watching it all happen via-SatComm?

It sure sounds as if that's what the administration did with him.

What non military people do not understand is that a real soldier will NOT leave any man behind. The people calling the shots here, were obviously not soldiers as was the general.

Colonel Mustard in the drawing room with a pipewrench.

Gen. Ham might have learned a valuable history lesson had he studied the Korean War.

Meanwhile, back in the real world....

Ham refused to go until he knew what he was going into since he didn't even know what was really going on at the site. He could only pack so much stuff, but without knowing what to bring how did he know he was bringing the right tools and people?

Ham had been scheduled to retire from the Africa command post. An announcement was made several months before the attack concerning this and a search for his replacement was already on.

All it takes is a moment or two with the Google to find this out.

Much more fun to imagine a deep dark conspiracy with the president at the bottom of it.
