Here is the link to the IPD anti-sways. The Volvo guys say that these work wonders.

Fun to drive and as little as possible. However, no one is giving away free 911 SC's. There isn't exactly a set limit on what I'm willing to spend, but more than four to five thousand dollars would be unlikely.

My 300D has experienced zero operational mission failures in 8 years. Flat tires and needing a jump start don't count (going by the Failure Definition Scoring Criteria I used when I was in automotive testing). My 240D had one (bad starter). My '71 250 gasser POS was a completely different story

More money than I want to spend, not available with a manual transmission, and the one I already have won't fit.
Well, then just stick a 4-speed in; fill-in-the-blanks for $3K to $4K......Skip.....that should cover a lot of ground.....

Ahhhh the classic Volvo 245. My dad's favorite car after Studebaker went away. Red is perhaps the only common color he never had!

Not really....

You can keep a W123 running with a hammer, roll of duct tape, screw driver, and some blood/sweat.

Volvo, not so much.

Point in fact: Just try to keep an old Volvo 240 glove compartment door shut without some duct tape. I double-dog dare you!

This looks like a fine replacement for the W123!

Bah!

Any MB/Volvo/Porsche that age will need a little TLC.

As long as it's not on fire, you're good to go!
