The strangest thing of all was some women seemed to go into some type of trance situation when I was talking to them. It was like their whole being was fixated on me to the exclusion of everything else.

Even the wife when present. I would break it off as soon as I observed it was happening again. These women would have been highly embarrassed if they realized the state they were in. Every person present could see what was happening.

I do not think her observing this turned the wifes crank particularily. Especially as the frequency increased. I have to assume I am not the only guy that ever experienced this by a long shot but it may still be rare. Or rare in the context of the actual amount of times it occurred with me.

I never once took any advantage of those situations. As soon as the women surfaced again they seemed totally unaware of what their behavious had been like only a few seconds before.

I know it is hard to believe but if once observed leaves no doubt. I think the old expression was I mesmerized them by accident.. Possibly the tone of voice for all I know. More likely a combination of things. Whatever it was for the long period it randomly occurred in I never abused the situations.

So I cannot comment what may have resulted if I had requested certain things. These things I leave to you imaginations. There may be a simple biological explanation of why these event occurred or it too also may have been only a partial factor. You should have absolutely no doubt that what I experienced is possible. I lived it until about age fifty.

Women are still fairly friendly towards me or perhaps more so than average. Still the extremes of this has ceased happening about twenty years ago. I attribute my current status with them to my sense of humour being appreciated by them.

To wind this odd post up I had to somehow resemble gods gift to some women so to speak. At least In some ways for some of the events that happened over the years. No I am not gods gift to women either or do not see myself as such. I have had professional women and others tell me that if anything ever happens to me and the wife to give them a call. They where not in the trance state when making the requests either. The reality is they may have been dissapointed had anything resulted from this. Many situations in life can never measure up to expectations. Especially unrealistic ones.

I think one of the reasons to post this is to find out if others have experienced similar situations. I know I cannot be unique. Also a small or medium component must have been my semi lookalike appearance has to be a given in this.
Newman looked like he could have been a Canadian.

Some guys have all the luck, looking like Newman, others look like DiNiro. Yikes!

Weird that both of the people I am supposed to look like were on Law and Order. Sam Waterston and Dennis Farina.

I think I'm pretty close to looking like Farina, though I can see the Waterston resemblance.

Yes he has. I have always enjoyed his music. Glenn & Gordon Lightfoot were two of my favorites from the late 60's & early 70's.

I did not and do not have all the luck. No telling what women are really looking for and thinking. Besides the biological component.

For example I was in an explosion at four oclock in the morning. Quickly changed my clothes and took of for the hospital fast. I thought I might go into shock too soon if I delayed and could not have driven.

My injuries were being addressed on the table. All skin bagging off right hand. Lower belly area and pennis burnt plus an area of the testicle bag as well. I can assure you that smarts. Asked the surgeon to give my wife a call at seven in the morning to let her know where I was.

He related to me later that he did so and described the damage. Plus that it would all heal up and I would function normally again after a period of time.. Plus I would be hospitalized in isolation for a time as well. Infection is a very large issue with burns.

She apparently responded but how is he really now as I can get that anywhere. He got a real laugh out of that he told me. Women can be pragmatic if nothing else I suppose.

The debriding or removal of dead skin goes on for about eight days twice a day. After a few days with all these masked women dealing with my pennis issue. I asked to have the IV demerol drug removed as I almost said something tasteless while under their influence. I do not think they were giving me anything to combat what may happen with all these women handling my pennis either so I wanted more pain as well.

Surprisingly there was little more pain without the drugs.. All where only second degree burns except a very small area on the lower abdominal area was third degree. So no skin grafts.

So I suppose I hold the record on this site for the most masked women dealing with his penis. In fact one young nurse was having some difficulty initially and I told her what to do as it had to be done. She really got into it. After a few times she got to the point of trying to remove more skin than she should. I suppose sometimes there is not enough skin to go around.

After a few days mentally telling yourself not to develop an erection with all those women handling you is a mental challenge. Some get so close while working that without the mask you would feel them breathing.

Akim might have dealt with that situation somewhat differently. Might have thought that having a flame hardened penis was worth it for instance. Or having your penis handled by thirty different women at no direct cost might be an upside with our Canadian medical system. I can almost hear an American provider saying that thirty masked women handling your penis for eight days is not covered in your plan.

barry12345, you certainly get the award for the post with the most occurrences of the word "penis".

EDIT: This site is probably going to get a surge of spammers now!

When I was in my early 20's I was frequently told I looked like Christian Slater. Then in my mid 30's and very overweight, I was told I looked like a fat guy in glasses with a goatee that did some magazine ads for Apple.

Now, I don't look like anyone else, or at least nobody is saying so.

So is this happening now or in the past?

I've found out alcohol, when supplied in sufficient quantities, makes me look like whoever they want to imagine.

About thirty years ago Tom. I would guess about two months later there was no way you would have known it happened. That was a time when a new burn treatment medicine was just being used to reduce and eliminate scarring. They told me it was expensive.

In general you would not know it happened by appearances other than perhaps a smallish area of the third degree area of burn.

They do not know if burns are second or third degree till the dying or dead skin being removed twice a day stops I believe. Or if the skin is totally missing perhaps. Not done properly and you will be scarred.

For what it is worth an explosion seems to make the flames travel into areas that you would think impossible. I had something in my right hand for example and the burns under it where just as substantial as the exposed portion of the hand. It is also suprising in the amount of damage done so quickly as the flame front is so fast moving and of small duration in an explosion..

That the chemicals I was working with where extremely volatile did not help either. I remember the flame being purple more or less. What saved the damage being more extensive was the heavy sweater I had on under the coveralls. There was not enough time elapsed to burn through the bulk of the sweater. It did remove totally areas of the coveralls though. I would not wish a burn like that on my worse enemy. Thats if I had one.

Was it by chance a transformer that exploded? I met a fellow who was gruesomely burned over about 90% of his body and survived by such an explosion.

As a side note I have heard at least three transformer explosions here in the last two weeks.
