Ignoring facts and truths won't make George Zimmerman less of a stand-up hero than he already is. That horse has left the barn.

The facts reflect that George Zimmerman's quick actions, saved lives in all likelyhood.

In reality, and IMHO, we need more George Zimmermans willing to risk their lives in order to protect ppl, and less of the wayward, doped-out element on-the-streets.

Saved lives? Is someone implying that Trayvon Martin was a nascent serial killer stopped in his tracks by the heroic George Zimmerman?

Careful there Skid, you start going against the dopers and you're stepping on a good many toes on this forum.

I'm sorry, he did say 'F-in coons' on the 911 tape and he had gone to a place in his head where all blacks were suspects. He screwed up. Big time.

One remarkable event after another in the life of George Zimmerman, Larry........

George Zimmerman is not only free from the system that tried to punish him for watching out for his neighbors, he is now validated as a remarkable first responder to a disaster. That guy is one h#lluva gutsy guy to risk placing himself at risk of injury twice now, for the betterment of his fellow brother Man. The record now indicates this.

Another great example of the responses from some people when the facts don't back up their own personal opinion.

I pulled some kids out of a burning tent once, grabed a girl's hand and pulled her out of the water after she fell off of a dock ( she was going to drown for sure ), helped to pull a family out of a van after it flipped over when it was hit by a drunk driver, ( he died at the scene ) and ran to get help for a woman who was having a heart attack.

None of these events had my name in the paper. Does this make me a hero too?

Facts are that he said "the ass***** always get away" and "F-in coons" on the 911 tape. He may have been amiable towards blacks at times in his life but in this case, he decided he knew who were the perps and who weren't.

I think a lot of people would help others out at a crash site. It rarely happens to any of us to be in that spot. I was only the first one upon an accident once and the guy (driving alone) got out of his car and leaned against the guard rail, dialing his cell, and gave me a dirty look when I asked if he was OK.

Zimmerman will have little privacy for the rest of his life. I don't conclude that he acted wisely. He was a low rent, untrained vigilante in the TM drama.

It's cool. Just sort through and pick out the factual information, IF there is any!

When it is obvious the poster(s) didn't actually FOLLOW OR READ THE EVIDENCE/TRIAL....... it's just humorous.

Why not humour us by having a bumper sticker made that says 'God Bless George Zimmerman'..roll thru Houston with it on your vehicle...instead of simply trolling the saying here on the forum.

Those events add another dimension to understanding who you are.
