you guys crack me up. I am not a keyboard commando, and I assure that if I decided to fly a sticker like that it is my right as an American and I would not let someone infringe upon that w/o dissent. Regarding all the bs, rest assured that I know how to take care of myself.

you may have a point. I grew up with a trio of guys who became "emergency junkies" one had a radio Shack police band radio on his bike and he and his brothers were all over the place running to wrecks, shootings, fires, etc. All of them, all three went to work in the media. So, Z may be one of those guys. Thing is though, it is not against the law to be a wanna be....

some people really want to help, but for one reason or another can't or won't become leo or first responders, some of them are good people and some of them are sort of sad. still, if we arrrested all the wanna bes, the prisons would be more full than they are now.....

He came after the fact and introduced himself to the sheriff deputy who was at the scene...police scanner sounds plausible.
