Dabbling with the dark side

It may be shabby, but it's my Euro M635CSI

Al-

She's a beauty. I missed out on one just like it (well, not an M6, but a 633 US version) just a couple of weeks ago that looked to be primo. As a consolation, I bought my wife (or was it, she allowed me to fix for her?) an '89 e34 535i (automatic- all she drives). Tried to drive it home yesterday and a caliper stuck and ruined our day. Just a bump in the road.

I'm already liking the M30.

Nice. That's one of my "dream cars". They just look so darn good.

Bit please do me a favor and get rid of those seat covers .

Thanks guys, the plan is to bring the car back to original shape. It needs a lot of work but should be fun. Now to find a Beemer forum.

I love those shark nose coupes.

I think they are the most beautiful of all the BMWs.

make sure you check the timing chain rails, usually eats them up by 90k on the m motors

^^ From what little I know so far, the chain and rails on an M30 are not easily replaced (without removing the head)

Neither is the camshaft....it's a whole new experience...

Ah, sorry. See how little I know..

BMW M88 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The M6 doesn't start with the M30 like the generic 6 (and my 5) series does...

A buddy of mine had an E34 back in the 90's. I thought that it was one of best looking cars. I had an E30 at the time and I remember racing him at 115mph on the M4 just before we hit the exit and then him over taking me on the exit ramp.

He had to be doing 130mph on the exit.

That's the problem BMW's, they make me drive like a hooligan
