@ $ 2400.00. Daily driver at 183 commutes annually for 25 miles one way. Mower used weekly about twenty weeks per year with exceptional weather, last year was real dry and went about 4 weeks with out any use so maybe sixteen teen uses for that year.
Ha! I can relate on another level. At one time a lot of years ago, my vehicles amounted to double the value of what my real estate was worth! I had to get a handle on that, real quick!

A coworker has one of there commercial units for his place. He has mixed feelings about it. He told me that it does the job, but if he were to buy another one is not sure he would buy another Dixie. I have looked at them. They seem well built yet they do seem to have lower HP per width than some other brands and I do think their price is towards the higher end.

I believe he did mention orchard. After my father retired he worked one summer for the village of Edgerton, Ohio. It is a very small community, but has a very large park with 100 acres to mow. He and just one other man mowed all of it. They were using Exmarks with 6' decks. That particular summer it rained, rained, rained. They were force to mow wet grass sometimes. It was more that a 40 hour work week to keep up with it. My father's back began to hurt from the ride. He stopped after that summer.
