I am looking for a vehicle with reasonable paint job, a diesel sedan. Could be 240 or 300 or 300SD.

I tried to buy one then fly down and pick it up, but the buyer did not want to sell, fearing that if I didn't like the paint job when I got there, I would become angry and create problems.

I then asked if anyone would be interested in looking at the car for me-- Thus far, no takers.

So the cash stays in the bank and I keep looking.

The one thing that irks me is when people try to minimize a major problem, like AC not working because it is low. " All ya gotta do is..." Well if it is so damn easy, why not get off you butt and do it, instead of discounting the car 500.00?

The answer is because you don't want to put any more monery in the car, even to sell it.

Donald Trump once made a comment that I like.:

" I once knew a guy who sold cars. Most were dirty and he didn't get a lot for them. But he didn't want to invest 20.00 in a thorough clean-up. Another guy washed the cars and usually got a couple hundred more."

So, if you are in this area and want to look at a car for me, I'll pay you. But you must send photos.
