Interesting, did not know that the average age of MB buyers was that high. Although it is not surprising given the price of product.

I don't think I'd buy a new C-class. At least not in my current driving situation. I've driven 2 of them, its a nice car. But I prefer my 124's throttle response and overall feel. I have to take our 420SEL up for an alingment in a few weeks, I'll bring home an E and see how that feels.

It would be good to compare the 124 to the latest incarnation.

I think the W204 is a logical evolution of the W201 chassis.

Sadly they do not give out S-class loaners Although I'm sure they would if I were the right person with the right cash and whatnot.

Saw the first CLA I have seen so far at the local gas station this afternoon. Brand new owner that, I think, was filling it up for the first time since buying. He said he had averaged 29 mpg on the first tank full. I thought it was a nice looking car.

Mercedes Benz is just another car company trying to win a sales race now,

I doubt that the low prices of 5-6 year old off-lease CLAs will bedazzle that demographic now.

What will lure them will be a similar sized brand new Hyundai or Kia that is a fully equipped, rolling iphone.
