The man goes down. Even after losing his mayor's position, going to serve time in jail(120 days) having to pay $ 1 million in resttution, 5 yr probation,giving up his lawyers liscence, he still comes on tonite at a press conferance stating his departure and manages to slam the governor of Michigan for holding a hearing to have him removed from office. We have not heard the last of this peice of work.

Lets not forget Tamarra Green, the topless dancer who was entertaining the mayor at the mansion, and mayors wife Carlita walked in on his little party,gives the dancer a detriot beat-down, then the girl comes up shot to death,execution style, by what appears to be police issue rounds> They are still in the process of unravelling all that. So maybe he did have someone shot,only time and the press will tell.

My projection is that he is biulding his "street" credo's. Get some jail time in , and hook-up with Shug knight ,over at "Bone-Thugs" records, and then become a rap promoter.

Any one who assumes the position of mayor in Detroit has all of the cards stacked against them . All of the major industires that used to provide a tax base have left. Really the ony people who are left living there cannot afford to get out. A big mess.

I'd do it but I have no desire to live in Detroit and the Kiwi will wear off in a few days.

On a serious note his replacement Ken Cockrel seems to be honest and genuine based on his actions if he can withstand the $hitstorm Kwame, Conyers, Collins & Co started Detroit may have a chance.
